Porter Position summary: The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to delivery and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities. Key Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior: empty garbage cans, clean floors, dust countertops and work areas. Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, and properly store tools and equipment. Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary. Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs begin. Perform exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete. Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for additional repairs. Education & Experience High School diploma or GED (preferred). Automotive experience (preferred). Ability to multitask. Clear close vision required. Minimum age 18. Valid driver’s license. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail. Customer service skills. Positive attitude. Trustworthy and reliable. Willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Pulling, pushing, carrying, walking 5+ minutes, sitting/standing 5+ minutes. Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl 1+ time. Operate a motor vehicle. Lift up to 50 pounds. Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts. Compensation Pay: $15 - $18 per hour.
