Job Title: BARS Program Checker / Compliance Visit Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable candidates to support The BARS Program by completing assigned compliance visits at local business locations. This role helps verify whether businesses are following required alcohol and tobacco sales procedures. This is a temporary, assignment-based opportunity. Candidates will receive job files as they become available and must be able to follow detailed instructions, complete visits in the required order, and report results immediately after each assignment.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned compliance visits for The BARS Program.
• Follow the assigned Visit List exactly and complete visits in the order provided.
• Complete each assigned job in one day.
• Check in with The BARS Program before beginning any assignment.
• Have all required visit materials and cards in hand before starting.
• Report results immediately after completing each assignment.
• Communicate clearly with office staff before removing or returning any materials.
• Follow all program deadlines, instructions, and reporting procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and accuracy while working independently.

Requirements

• Must meet all BARS Program Checker eligibility requirements.
• Must be legally eligible to participate in alcohol and tobacco compliance visits.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable and able to follow detailed instructions.
• Must be able to complete assigned visits in one day.
• Must be comfortable checking in online or by phone before beginning work.
• Must be able to report results accurately and immediately after completion.
• Must be professional, honest, and detail-oriented.
• Must be available for temporary, part-time, or on-call assignments as jobs become available.

Program Eligibility Requirement

Due to the nature of alcohol and tobacco compliance visits, candidates must meet all BARS Program Checker eligibility requirements, including being legally eligible to purchase age-restricted products and meeting the program’s approved checker standards. Eligibility will be verified during the onboarding process.
