Maintenance Worker Supervisor NS-07

Duties Plans the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, project-by-project and on a week-to-week and month-to-month basis. Investigates works related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determine causes. Implement corrective actions to resolve work problems. Determines training needs and arranges for accomplishment of it; sets performance standards and makes formal appraisals of subordinates. Measures, cuts, constructs and/or repairs wood, composite building materials, and wood substitute items where specific fit and accuracy are required within allowable limits to produce a serviceable product. As needed, replaces worn or broken wall switches and outlets. Replaces ceiling light and/or burned out bulbs. May be required to drive vehicles up to and including a 5-ton truck to move furniture, etc., to various buildings on the installation. US Department of War
