Nurse Practitioner - PRN

For more information, visit As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with our Centralized Staffing PRN Pool, you'll provide care to client employees within our Wellness Centers located in Miami, FL . The scheduled hours are PRN as needed, day shift. No nights or weekends. Three years experience in primary care or family medicine required. Active Florida NP autonomous license required. What You’ll Do Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed Maintain patient health records and ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices Perform other duties as assigned What You’ll Bring Maintain state RN licenses/certificates to practice Maintain Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice Maintain State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable) Hold a Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable) Hold current national certification (ANCC or AANP required) Earn a Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if the Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it, then a copy of transcripts is required) Hold current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services Have at least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting Work‑life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
