Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires working three 12-hour shifts per week, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including every other weekend and holidays at the hospital's discretion. A 30-minute lunch break will be provided during each shift.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a 60-bed post-acute inpatient care hospital. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgeries and other medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health issues and care plans.
• Document patient care effectively in electronic medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
