Technical Designer

We’re looking for a Technical Designer with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. You’ll play a key role in bringing creative vision to life through detailed, production-ready specs and strong cross-functional collaboration, ensuring every style meets our quality and fit standards across woven, knit, and sweater categories. In this role, you’ll work closely with design, production, and overseas factories throughout the development process, supporting fittings, maintaining technical consistency, and helping move styles from concept to final approval. Key Responsibilities Assist in and help lead fittings, contributing fit, construction, and grading feedback Build and maintain detailed tech packs and garment specs across multiple categories Measure and evaluate garments against spec, identifying and communicating issues clearly Communicate directly with overseas factories on fit comments, construction callouts, and approvals Partner with design and production teams to support technical feasibility throughout development Maintain and update measurement charts, size specs, and grading across a full size run Help keep development calendars on track across multiple styles and deadlines simultaneously Support day-to-day technical organization and contribute to maintaining consistent fit standards across the collection Requirements 3+ years of technical design experience across wovens, knits, and sweaters Strong understanding of garment construction and fit Experience participating in fittings and communicating fit comments clearly Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel / Google Sheets Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and grow within the role Why Join With Jéan You’ll be part of a globally recognized brand with a passionate community, collaborating closely with a tight-knit team to shape the next stage of growth.
