A homecare aide provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. A homemaker/companion provides non-medical home care which includes: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home. We travel to the following areas: Sacramento, West, North and South Sacramento, Natomas, Woodland and Davis. We are hiring care providers who may have the skills and experience with Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board. The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Our shift needs are all days of the week from Monday to Sunday: AM/PM and NOC (overnight).

Essential Responsibilities: Performs personal care activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/Grooming Ambulation/Transfers Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Performs light housekeeping activities Medication reminders Care of bed-bound clients Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts Provide Companionship

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)
• TB Skin test (can accept completed TB test not older than 90 days)

Compensation: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what they all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes.
