Cardiovascular OR RN

Join a cardiovascular surgical team providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing open-heart procedures. This permanent nursing opportunity offers a weekday day shift, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates must have recent acute-care operating room RN experience and the required nursing license and certifications.

Location: Kissimmee, Florida

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule: Monday and Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with on-call duties and rotating weekends. On-call coverage is generally once per week and one weekend per month, subject to departmental needs.

Pay Range: $31.84–$46.26/hour, depending on experience. On-call pay: $4/hour. Additional differentials include $1.50/hour for weekends and $1.50/hour for national certification. Night shift differential: $4.50/hour.

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (listed through September 25; current availability must be confirmed).

Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients, operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
• Maintain patient safety and follow infection prevention and surgical protocols.
• Assist with intraoperative nursing responsibilities and coordinate care throughout the perioperative process.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Participate in on-call coverage and rotating weekend assignments.

Requirements:

• At least one year of recent operating room RN experience in an acute-care setting, within the past year.
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• BSN preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient safety skills.
