As a vital member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, your expertise will help identify and address speech, language, and communication needs across a diverse student population. Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous K-12 experience preferred, especially in school environments
- Strong assessment, intervention planning, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds and varying student needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver engaging therapy, both individual and group, tailored to each child’s goals
- Consult and partner with classroom teachers, special education personnel, and families
- Monitor student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
- Support IEP development, reviewing and updating as needed
- Participate in campus meetings, professional development, and training
