Administrative Assistant to VP of Facilities

: This position manages and executes the administrative functions and systems of the Vice President (VP) of Facilities and communicates information between the VP of Facilities and the Facilities sub-departments and other departments within Publix and industry affiliations which include:

• providing administrative support to the Vice President of Facilities
• overseeing the Technology Request Process for Facilities
• providing administrative support to the following sub-departments: Facilities Refrigeration, Facilities Maintenance and Warehousing and Facilities Support
• managing various special projects to completion (projects may be ongoing or as needed and assigned by the VP of Facilities) and
• assisting the Systems Coordinator by providing support to system users.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• At least three years experience in an administrative role.
• Thorough knowledge of office and administrative procedures
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to recognize legal documents
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent human relations skills, including professional telephone etiquette
• Ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work a variable work schedule if needed.
