Insurance Billing Specialist

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Insurance Billing Specialist will resolve pending claims, address payment issues, and manage account resolution tasks while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal quality standards. Key responsibilities Review and resolve claims that are on hold, identifying and addressing underlying issues Document findings and actions accurately in the appropriate systems Communicate with insurance companies to collect claim status and deposit information Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, deadline-driven environment Experience with basic credentialing updates with insurance companies Proficiency in using dual monitors and navigating multiple systems simultaneously Ability to maintain composure and deliver quality work under pressure
