The Part-Time Night Custodian position in South Side Columbus, Ohio, focuses on maintaining cleanliness and safety within the facility during overnight hours. Working independently, the custodian ensures that all cleaning duties are completed according to schedule, supporting a hygienic and well-maintained environment with minimal interaction with building occupants.
Responsibilities
- Perform night cleaning tasks including dusting, floor maintenance, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly following the cleaning schedule
- Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Manage cleaning supplies and inventory to ensure availability
- Ensure all tasks comply with safety standards
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Restock necessary supplies following standards
- Conduct weekly deep cleaning and specialized maintenance tasks
