Key Responsibilities Include Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders Following the Six Rights of Medication Administration Documenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time Monitoring symptoms, reporting adverse reactions or refusals promptly Conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs) Transcribing physician orders and supporting care plan updates Observing and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changes Maintaining medication carts, completing narcotic counts, and ensuring regulatory compliance The role emphasizes preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and adherence to standards.
