Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non‑production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run. Responsibilities: Installing & maintaining plant equipment to meet specifications & regulations. Repair & trouble shooting of electrical wiring, PLC's, controllers, lighting controls & electrical motors in a production environment. Maintain cost control over equipment & supplies for budget. Ensure that General Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), safety rules & regulations are being followed & enforced. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 2‑year vocational electrical degree and/or previous experience in 480/3 phase. A journeyman or master license is preferred but not required. Good electrical mechanical repair & trouble shooting skills. Good communication skills. Willingness & ability to work & function in a team environment. Attention to detail & accuracy. Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
