(USA) Tire and Battery Center Team Leader

Position Summary As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead you will drive member service in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver safe and efficient services. You will model expertise in the Tire and Battery Center and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations. What You’ll Do Be a Team Leader: supervise the team, deliver on the business plan and contribute to the club’s overall success, set goals, guidelines, and expectations, and advocate for members, associates, and the company. Be an Expert: maintain in-depth knowledge of floor operations, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, recalls, product specifications, and seasonality; share knowledge and train the team; ensure the team possesses knowledge of new products and technologies. Leverage Technology: use digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions; encourage early adoption of new tools. Own Results: drive business results, maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area, plan orders of equipment, tools, and supplies, monitor expense controls, manage inventory, cash registers, and transactions, and support member service when required. Develop Talent: train and mentor the team, monitor e‑learning completion, identify potential in others, provide necessary skill development, encourage career growth, and source new talent internally and externally. Promote Compliance: support company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, assist management with compliance issues, and foster a culture of belonging and integrity. Serve Customers: deliver results while prioritizing the customer, make decisions based on reliable information, balance priorities, and consider how work impacts teams and stakeholders. Hourly Wage Range $22.00 to $30.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional Compensation Additional premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications Six months of supervisory experience or six months of experience in the automotive industry. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Supervisory experience in the tire industry. Tire industry certification – Certificate.
