Unit sees spinal surgeries, spine fractures, brain tumors, seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, joint replacement surgeries. Facility: 700 bed Level 1 Trauma center and Teaching hospital. Coastal Maine location about 2 hours north of Boston.
