Closing CoordinatorWe are looking for a Closing Coordinator to join one of our offices in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate should have experience handling both residential and commercial NJ closings. Salary $60K - $75K/year (DOE).Key Responsibilities:Handle all communication from parties in the file when the report goes out through closingCoordinate clearance by reviewing schedule B, contacting attorneys/creditors, and sending clearance requests, if applicableCoordinate owner/loan policies with counsel and clientObtain high liability approval, if applicableObtain documents and all fees/invoices to be paid at closingFollow up for outstanding items on closing checklistCheck on the survey if applicableFinalize title invoice including contacting municipalities for taxes, water/sewer etc.Review clearance (with counsel if necessary) and review any payoffs etc.Obtain "clear to close approvalSend closing notificationsSchedule closer and order rundownsSettlement statement balancingLoop in accounting dept. for fundingPrep affidavits and generate loan docs, as necessaryRequirements:Experience handling both residential and commercial NJ closingsKnowledge of NJ recording and transfer taxesHigh customer service skillsStrong typing and computer skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must have a detail-oriented work ethic
