Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Littlefield, Texas. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Night shift at a surgery center. Weekly pay: $2,060–$2,220 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This travel opportunity includes a 7-on/7-off schedule paid on a 36/48 rotation, with occasional float to Med/Surg and an expected volume of 5–12 deliveries per month. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients in the L&D unit, including monitoring maternal vital signs and fetal status, assessing labor progression, and supporting safe delivery and postpartum care.
- Administer prescribed medications, manage analgesia/epidural coordination as appropriate, and respond to labor-related complications under physician or midwife guidance.
- Document care and patient status using the CPSI/ Thrive charting system; ensure accurate and timely charting for all obstetric events.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family education.
- Float to Med/Surg as needed; adapt to changing patient needs while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license (Texas) or eligibility to practice in Texas
- L&D nursing experience preferred; strong obstetric fundamentals required
- Ability to work nights and participate in a 7-on/7-off rotation
- Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg
- Proficiency with CPSI/ Thrive charting system
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN or BSN acceptable)
