Payroll Support Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. What You’ll Do: Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll accurately and efficiently Review and audit timekeeping records, ensuring accuracy and completeness Manage employee payroll changes, deductions, bonuses, and overtime calculations Administer garnishments, tax levies, and wage assignments Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries professionally Generate payroll reports and assist with tax reporting requirements Train supervisors and new hires on HRIS and Time & Attendance systems Cross-train and provide backup support to the HR team What We’re Looking For: Payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements Experience with HRIS and Time & Attendance systems Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong customer service and communication skills Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certification requirements; office location and other geographic considerations; and other business and organizational needs.
