Senior CAD Engineer

Senior Electrical CAD Engineer We are seeking a Senior Electrical CAD Engineer to join a leading global technology organisation at the forefront of advanced communications and connectivity solutions. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design, development, and lifecycle management of complex PCB assemblies, while driving innovation through automation, AI‑enabled workflows, and engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities Lead HDI PCB stack‑up design, component placement, and multi‑layer board architecture Own complex schematic capture and circuit design using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro Drive SI/PI analysis, DRC, and cross‑functional design validation Define CAD standards, component libraries, and PLM integration Develop Python‑based automation and support AI‑driven design workflows Collaborate with RF, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve EMI/integration challenges Establish DFM/DFA/DFT best practices for scalable production Requirements 6+ years’ experience in advanced PCB design / electrical engineering Strong Cadence Allegro/OrCAD expertise Strong knowledge of high‑speed digital, RF routing, power design, and EMI/EMC Experience with PLM systems Proficiency in Python for engineering automation Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Exposure to AI/ML in engineering workflows Experience with DFM tools and manufacturing optimisation Familiarity with Altium, Siemens Xpedition, or KiCad A senior role for an engineer who thrives on complex design challenges, automation, and improving engineering standards at scale.
