Caregiver – Rochester Hills, MI

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver for a consistent full-time assignment in Rochester Hills. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing one-on-one support, building a positive relationship with a client, and maintaining a consistent daily routine.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Consistent hours are available for reliable caregivers who can commit to the schedule.

Position Overview

The caregiver will provide non-medical in-home support to a client who benefits from a calm, structured routine. The client is relatively independent but needs assistance with daily activities, household tasks, transportation, and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Prepare meals and assist with meal preparation as needed
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
• Drive the client using the client's vehicle
• Assist with errands and appointments
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Provide support with daily routines and activities
• Communicate appropriately with the client, family, and CareOne Senior Care team
• Document care provided according to company requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be comfortable driving the client's vehicle
• Clean driving record preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to remain active throughout the shift and perform the essential duties of the position
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must successfully complete a background check
• Current TB test or willingness to complete one
• Reliable phone for communication and scheduling

Previous caregiving or home care experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• $14–$17 per hour
• Select specialty cases may pay up to $20 per hour
• Next-day pay option available
