Electrician Facilities Management Services – Renovations Department. Competitive Salary: $39,200 – $47,100. Location: Atlanta Campus. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 AM. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will perform skilled manual work, such as the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. In addition to supporting the department, the Electrician will: Install conduits, wiring, switchboards, and other components necessary for additions or alterations to electrical systems. Monitor electrical equipment for needed repairs and maintenance. Service and repair lighting, power, heating, cooling, and communication systems. Install and test safety devices, such as fire alarms. Repair and replace parts in motors, generators, pumps, batteries, etc. Drill holes for wiring. Replace fuses, light bulbs, and switches. Maintain tools and equipment; gather tools and supplies for use at the work site. Clean the work areas, tools, and equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Anticipated Hiring Range: $39,200 – $47,100. Qualifications Minimum Requirements : Technical or vocational degree and one year of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
