About Hampton Lumber Hampton Lumber is a family‑owned company headquartered in Portland, Oregon, operating nine sawmills in Western Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. The company supplies responsibly sourced wood products and operates a wholesale and import/export division. Responsibilities Commission, start‑up, and maintain a highly focused maintenance prevention program. Execute preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely, effective repairs. Collaborate with operations and team members to improve equipment performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations. Take full ownership of assigned tasks to Hampton’s maintenance standards. Work different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed for commissioning, training, or start‑up.
