Qualification Requirements Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required Foodservice related experience or training preferred Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follows time, task, and rotation schedules assigned by the supervisor. Performs cleaning, serving, cashiering, and dish room duties as assigned. Assists co-workers and supervisor if and when needed. Works cooperatively with all staff members of the Child Nutrition Department, Administration Office, District staff, students, parents and general public. Follow all Child Nutrition/District cash control procedures. Follows production menus and recipes to prepare quality products and control food cost. Ensures compliance with all Child Nutrition Department, District, local, state, and federal requirements, policies, guidelines, rules, and regulations. Additional duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor or above. Language and Grammar Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to compose and write grammatically correct correspondence and memos. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule form, or blueprint form.
