Job Position: Warehouse Worker
Location: La Porte, TX 77571 Pay Rate: $17.00/hr Shift:Description: Job Description - Cargo Acceptance Labor Agent We are seeking an additional Labor Agent to assist with checking cargo upon acceptance at our facility in the 77571 area. Position Details
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Overtime: Saturday work will most likely apply
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Location: 77571
Responsibilities
Inspect and verify cargo upon acceptance
Check shipments for accuracy, condition, and documentation
Report any discrepancies or damaged cargo
Assist with loading/unloading activities as needed
Maintain a safe and organized work area
Follow company safety and operational procedures
Requirements
Ability to lift and move cargo as required
Strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work Saturdays when needed
Previous warehouse or cargo handling experience preferred, but not required
