Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for a licensed Staff Pharmacist to provide expertise in a retail pharmacy setting. The role involves ensuring accurate dispensing, verifying prescriptions, and delivering patient counseling within a well-structured schedule.

Location: Belleville, IL
Job Type: Contract
Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (24-30 hours per week)
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Sunday: Emergency orders only (On-call from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with an hourly on-call pay)

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and verify prescriptions following pharmacy protocols
Provide patient counseling and respond to medication-related inquiries
Manage retail pharmacy operations efficiently within assigned hours
Handle emergency orders during on-call Sunday shifts

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Illinois Pharmacy License is required
Experience with PioneerRx software is preferred
PharmD degree is preferred
Previous retail pharmacy experience, including RX filling and verification

Additional Details:

Must have signed agreements prior to starting
On-call pay rate applies for Sunday shifts
