St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Team Lead position on a Med Surg unit located at the Ft Thomas, Kentucky location. Shift & Hours: Day shift, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm; Full-time, 36 hours weekly. Job Description The best career is right here. The Registered Nurse/Team Leader is responsible for providing nursing leadership in an associate management role for an assigned shift. Provide for the care needs of patients utilizing the nursing process either by directly providing the care or by supervising the care on assigned shift. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to facilitate the throughput of patients both in and out of the unit in a timely manner. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education, Credentials, Licenses Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate from accredited School of Nursing. If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence. Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed. Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses. Specialized Knowledge Specialized Knowledge: Ability to direct self and others. Aware of Nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocols. Knowledgeable of the organization’s mission, vision, values. Demonstrates clinical proficiency Kind and Length of Experience Kind and Length of Experience: One year recent nursing experience in clinical area of specialty. Experience as a shift charge nurse.
