Accounts Receivable Specialist

Ed Morse is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Job duties include but are not limited to processing various GL account reconciliations, collections and accounts receivable.
- Process incoming payment transactions
- Oversee customer collections, follow up on delinquent accounts
- Assist with month end closing
- Maintaining bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed
- Communicating with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
- Collecting payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
- Creating reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
- Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Great understanding of account reconciliations
- Automotive dealership experience is preferred
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced office
- Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
- Must be able to work well with people on all levels and be able to communicate effectively.
