Vice President, Portfolio Valuation

Our expertise covers a broad spectrum of alternative asset strategies, including private equity, hedge, credit, venture capital and infrastructure.Note: This position is hybrid can be located in Nashville, Atlanta or New Jersey office.Day-to-day responsibilities: Develop financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analysesConduct valuation analysis on a diverse range of illiquid investments distributed across industries and geographies, employing established and relevant approaches and theoryBe proactive and self-motivated, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and delivering actionable results within tight deadlines Manage teams of senior associates and analystsConduct client Interviews, including face-to-face meetings, to gather essential data and information for engagementsCollaborate with internal and external management teams to cultivate and strengthen client relationshipsIdentify and communicate potential engagements to management and leading the engagement proposal processPresent analyses and conclusions verbally and in written reportsParticipate in relevant industry events to expand knowledge and gain experience within the alternative asset industryEssential traits: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBAMinimum 3 years of developing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, commodity contracts / forecasts, and contingent claims analysisProficient in data analysis and business intelligence techniques Experience in managing diverse engagement teams and clientsWorking knowledge of authoritative guidance related to valuation (AICPA Guide, ASC 820 and IFRS 13), valuation industry best practices and emerging issuesFamiliarity with software packages like Alteryx, Tableau, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointWorking knowledge of market data sources such as Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQStrong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on representing diverse communitiesYour recruiter will be happy to walk you through your U.S.-specific benefits, which include:Healthcare Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.Time Off and Leave Policies: Generous paid time off (PTO), paid company holidays, generous parental and family leave.Protective Insurances: Life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and accident protection.Compensation and Rewards: Competitive salary structures, performance-based incentives, and merit-based compensation reviews.Retirement Plans: 401(k) plans with company matching.Please note that benefits may vary by region, department and role.
