Experienced Handyman / Home Repair ContractorExperienced professionals wanted House Doctors of South Dekalb is looking for experienced, dependable home repair professionals to join our network of independent contractors serving customers throughout Southeast Atlanta. This opportunity is best suited for an experienced handyman or tradesperson who can be given a project scope, arrive prepared, evaluate normal field conditions, and complete quality residential repairs independently and efficiently. We provide the customers and project opportunities. You provide the experience, craftsmanship, tools, and professionalism. Compensation $30–$40 per hour, based on demonstrated experience, skill level, versatility, and productivity. The upper end of the range is intended for highly experienced contractors who can independently complete a broad range of residential repair and improvement projects to professional standards. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a salaried or W-2 employee position. Types of projects projects may include:Drywall repair and finishingInterior and exterior carpentryDoor and lock installation and repairDeck, porch, railing, and fence repairsTrim and molding installationFlooring repairs and installationPainting and surface repairsFixture and hardware installationGeneral home maintenancePunch-list and small renovation projectsTroubleshooting and repairing common residential issuesThe ideal contractor is comfortable working across multiple trades, not just one specialty.
