Travel Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Pontiac, MI
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Pontiac, MI. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in an inpatient acute care hospital setting regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support clinical goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license required at time of submission.
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required.
- Experience in inpatient acute care required.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- ICU experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association recommended.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0700–1530.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8 with a 40 hour guarantee.
- No weekend requirement.

Impacting Patient Care Nationwide
As an Occupational Therapist you will provide interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary occupational therapy services under the direction of the Manager of Inpatient Therapy Services. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of OT interventions to improve patients' functional independence in the acute care setting. Graduates from accredited OT programs and clinicians with relevant acute care experience will be considered.
