Silver Cross Hospital is hosting a job fair to recruit candidates for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions. Join us on Monday, September 21st from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, located at 1900 Silver Cross Boulevard, New Lenox, Illinois.

Position Summary
Silver Cross Hospital is seeking compassionate, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our patient-centered care teams. CNAs play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality, respectful, and safe care throughout their stay. This role is ideal for newly certified CNAs, experienced professionals, and individuals eager to grow within a respected healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and record vital signs; promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support patient comfort, mobility, and safety
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused care
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient privacy guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification and completion of a CNA certification program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to care for patients with compassion and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous hospital experience strongly preferred
