Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 77-bed Medical Unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8 on nights
• Operate and monitor equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Work various shift lengths and days as required; flexibility is essential
• Float to additional units as needed, including a cardiovascular unit and a general medical unit
• Adhere to professional nursing attire and facility dress code standards
• Complete unit-specific orientation and training program prior to independent assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start
• Ability to work flexible schedules with no guaranteed hours or shift preference

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Up to 10 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience with wound vac management and chest tube care
