Commercial HVAC Service TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician for a permanent position with a well-established Mechanical Contractor in Savannah, GA. This role offers a great opportunity for individuals with some commercial experience who are eager to learn and advance their careers.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues within HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs to ensure efficient operation.Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues.Customer Interaction: Provide technical support and guidance to clients.Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including gas-fired furnaces, electric heat pumps, and RTUs.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, often under time constraints.Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and codes related to HVAC work, including handling refrigerants and combustible fuels.Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients and team members is essential for providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.Work EnvironmentField Work: Work in various commercial settings, which may involve physical labor and exposure to different weather conditions.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and service managers to complete projects and resolve issues.Must have an EPA Universal certification with some commercial experience.
