Mammography Technologist PRN

Role Overview The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to assist physicians with diagnostic data. Working under the guidance of a Radiologist and/or Manager, they ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities Conduct breast and bone density imaging following department protocols Evaluate image quality and perform post-processing Ensure proper patient identification and care Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure Assist radiologists with procedures Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to safety standards Respond to emergency situations appropriately Comply with organizational policies and conduct standards Qualifications & Skills Accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Radiography certifications, and BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of diagnostic radiography/X-ray experience; breast imaging experience preferred Strong communication, patient service skills, and ability to operate radiographic equipment Knowledge of mammography positioning techniques is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
