About Moxxie Ventures: Moxxie is an early-stage VC fund investing in pre-seed and seed startups across enterprise, consumer, climate, fintech, healthcare, infrastructure, and vertical AI. We’re former operators and founders (Google, Twitter, Apple, NVIDIA, YC, etc), backing technical founders building the weird, the wild, and the what-ifs. We invest in pre-seed and seed startups and write $500K-$1.5M checks, leading or co-leading rounds with a target of ~10% ownership. The Role: We’re looking for an ambitious, early-career investor who loves surfacing the most exciting pre-seed and seed founders before anyone else. This role is flexible and impact-driven. Most VC firms sideline early-career talent, but at Moxxie, you’ll learn venture from the inside—how we source, vet, and invest in game-changers. Bring in great deals, and we’ll expand your role, support you, and help you build a long-term career in venture. Key Responsibilities: Work the circuit: Attend dinners, hackathons, demo days, saunas, meetups, pickleball, coffees, walks, and happy hours—whatever works to meet the best founders! Network Building: Build a trusted network of founders, operators, and connectors. Sourcing: Spot lightning early by identifying top technical founders ahead of the curve. Market Intelligence: Share real-time insights on emerging companies and communities. Value Add: Add meaningful value to the founder community. About You: Attributes: You have hustle and muscle. You are high-energy, fast to connect, and always honest, helpful, and authentic. Humor is a plus. Founder’s Mindset: Scrappy, resourceful, and action-oriented.
