Prime Video’s Partner and Content Foundations (PCF) product and data organization focuses on partners by delivering world‑class tools that enable them to launch, grow, and scale businesses across Prime Video’s business lines. PCF Data fulfills the data and analytics needs for the PCF organization by building scalable data infrastructure, automated pipelines, and trusted metrics that power supply chain analytics, catalog analytics, and content delivery measurement. The team owns core Catalog and Quality datasets, tracking content availability, on‑time delivery, offer quality, and supply chain efficiency across Prime Video’s global operations. By producing quality data, providing actionable insights, and enabling self‑service analytics, PCF Data drives data‑driven decision‑making across Product, Tech, and Operations. Key job responsibilities We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to enhance PCF Data’s core data infrastructure by implementing AWS services to build data pipelines, improve data accuracy, reduce latency, increase service stability, and ensure compliance with Amazon‑wide data regulations. Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices Leverage AWS data processing services Possess broad knowledge of different data types and when to use them Understand data security and compliance standards to ensure alignment with company policies and regulations Use GenAI to improve efficiency and accelerate delivery A day in the life Write the design document to propose solutions to challenging data processing and data handling. Meet with peers to discuss proposed solutions. Review design documents with product managers, senior management, and Senior SDEs to communicate your approach and gather feedback. Build data infrastructure and pipelines using AWS services. About the team We are a centralized data team supporting the Partner and Content Foundations. We process big data using advanced AWS services and collaborate with PMs, TPMs, SDEs, and Applied Scientists. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of data engineering experience Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience with SQL Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
