Aircraft Assembler

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Assembler LOCATION: Pinellas Park F PAY RATE: $26-31.44/hour Job Details Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna) Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplier Summary Interpret blueprints and work instructions to assemble aircraft components. Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions with tolerances up to .001”. Perform hand drilling and installation of aircraft-specific fasteners. Complete part-fitting operations including filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working. Drill close tolerance holes and measure parts using various methods to verify dimensions. Modify or repair assemblies to incorporate engineering changes. Perform a variety of operations to manufacture, assemble, and refurbish aircraft parts and structures. Ensure a defect-free product through assembly operations. Requirements Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic experience with reading blueprints and interpreting specifications and/or technical publications. Basic experience with basic hand tools including drills, torque wrenches, and inspection tools. Ability to use precision instruments. Basic experience with locating holes from blueprints by hand layout, tooling jigs, engineering prints, or technology-based platforms. Basic experience in sheet metal manufacturing and/or assembly. Aircraft Assembly experience preferred.
