Youll support the Activity Director in planning and delivering programs that honor each residents interests, abilities, and individuality. Voluntary Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Critical Illness Insurance Hospital Indemnity Insurance Accident Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement Program What Youll Do Assist in planning and leading daily activity programs such as arts & crafts, games, music, exercise, educational sessions, religious services, and community outings Encourage residents to participate in group and one-on-one activities Help maintain accurate activity documentation (with training) Support the Activity Director with supply ordering, receipts, and monthly activity calendars Maintain resident preference lists, precautions, and activity limitations Help facilitate Resident Council meetings when needed Participate in planning special events involving residents, families, staff, and the community Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Activity certification (preferred) Experience in long-term care (preferred) Experience leading recreational or social programs within the last five years (preferred) Ability to interact effectively with Memory Care residents of all stages.
