Phlebotomist

Position Summary LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Tucson, AZ at North Oracle Rd, Tucson 85704. The work schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 7:30am – 12:00pm, with additional days or hours as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other tests. Enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. At least one year of experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Phlebotomy Incentive Plan Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
