Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS / Cloud Infrastructure / CI/CD

Mountain Pine, Arkansas | $90,000 – $115,000 | Permanent | Onsite 4–5 Days Per Week

YourCode Recruitment is currently working with an established and growing US organization to recruit an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer for its technology team in Mountain Pine, Arkansas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer, Senior Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to take ownership of a business-critical cloud and software delivery environment.

You’ll be responsible for helping shape the organization’s AWS cloud architecture, CI/CD strategy, infrastructure-as-code standards, observability and production reliability , while working closely with software engineering teams and mentoring other technical colleagues.

As Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll take a hands-on role across cloud architecture and software delivery.

You’ll design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, establish infrastructure-as-code standards and ensure cloud environments are secure, resilient and capable of supporting continued business growth.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing CI/CD architecture and reusable pipeline templates
• Designing and administering multi-environment AWS infrastructure
• Owning infrastructure-as-code architecture and engineering standards
• Working with Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK or equivalent technologies
• Designing AWS networking, account structures and environment separation
• Implementing IAM, least-privilege access, MFA and security controls
• Developing monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerting solutions
• Improving deployment automation, release management and rollback processes
• Working with software engineering teams to improve release workflows
• Leading technical incident response and post-incident reviews
• Improving secrets management, credential rotation and patch management
• Identifying infrastructure risks and recommending remediation
• Supporting capacity planning, resilience and disaster recovery
• Monitoring and optimizing AWS cloud expenditure
• Producing technical documentation and operational runbooks
• Mentoring engineers and helping establish engineering best practices

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps professional who combines strong hands-on AWS knowledge with the ability to take technical ownership.

You’ll ideally have:

• 6+ years of DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure experience
• Advanced AWS knowledge within production environments
• Strong experience designing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Infrastructure-as-code expertise using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Strong AWS networking, VPC and IAM knowledge
• Experience implementing secure cloud infrastructure
• Monitoring, observability and alerting experience
• Production release management and rollback experience
• Strong incident response and troubleshooting skills
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical standards
• The ability to communicate technical risks and decisions to different stakeholders

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

• Docker
• Kubernetes, AWS ECS or EKS
• .NET applications
• SOC 2 or other compliance environments
• Platform engineering and developer tooling
• Disaster recovery and business continuity
• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications
• Entra ID or AWS IAM Identity Center
• AWS Cognito
• FinOps and AWS cost optimization

The position is based in Mountain Pine, Arkansas and will be predominantly onsite, with an expectation of approximately 4–5 days per week in the office .

Due to the onsite nature of the position, applicants should be based within commuting distance of Mountain Pine or willing to relocate.

$90,000 – $115,000 per year , depending on experience, plus company benefits.
