Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Operating Room RN is responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative care to pediatric and adult patients. This role involves managing surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing compassionate support throughout all phases of surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform circulating duties in the operating room to support surgical teams.
• Provide on-call coverage for PACU to ensure continuous patient care.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia-related care in the PACU setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in Montana or a compact state.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in perioperative settings.
• Obtain and maintain certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
