Position Overview

Your Responsibilities
- Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, ranging from abdominal to vascular and obstetric imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and wellbeing throughout each procedure, clearly explaining every step
- Work in collaboration with radiologists and medical teams to generate precise diagnostic images
- Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues promptly
- Meticulously record procedures and maintain accurate patient records using electronic systems
- Stay abreast of advancements in sonographic techniques and best practices
Education Requirements
- Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
- Preferred completion of a program accredited by CAAHEP
Certifications Required
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
