Warehouse Receiving ClerkCheck inbound product against receiving paperwork to ensure that product matches order in quantity and pack size, and labels the product accordingly. Also ensure product condition meets acceptable government and company requirements. This helps maintain accurate inventory records and makes sure that the customer is receiving the correct, high quality product.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Check inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to ensure correct pack/size, quantity, product quality and temperature, pallet ti/hi, etc.Check temperature of all inbound frozen and refrigerated products to ensure proper temperatures and comply with U.S. Foodservice's food safety and RRE requirements.Check the cleanliness of the trailers before they are unloaded.Verify quantity of each product to insure physical count agrees with shipping and receiving documentation; report any variances so that inventory levels are accurately adjusted in system.Apply labels to all incoming product to identify that product in the warehouse for stocking, selection and inventory tracking.Complete required paperwork for daily receiving, as per U.S. Foodservice, USDA and SOX requirements; sign and date to authenticate products received are placed into inventory.Supervision Relationships:Internal: Day Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Control Clerk, Procurement AssociatesExternal: Outside Drivers, Lumper servicesQualifications:Education/Training: High School Education or equivalent preferred.Related Experience: A minimum of 3 months previous warehousing experience required, previous comparable warehouse experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to read & write legibly; basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); good verbal communication skills; basic computer skillsPhysical Requirements:Sit OccasionallyStand ContinuouslyWalk FrequentlyDrive Frequently: Pallet JackLift: 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) Continuously, 10-20 lbs (Light) Occasionally, 25-50 lbs (Medium) Occasionally, 50-100 lbs (Heavy) Occasionally (up to 80 lbs.), Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) NeverCarry: 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) Continuously, 10-20 lbs (Light) Occasionally, 25-50 lbs (Medium) Occasionally, 50-100 lbs (Heavy) Never, Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) NeverPush/pull Continuously Item: Boxes, pallet jack control arm, palletsClimb/balance Occasionally Item: In and out of pallet jack 9inch stepStoop/squat OccasionallyKneel/bend OccasionallyBend OccasionallyReach above shoulder OccasionallyGrasp objects Frequently Type: Boxes, pallet jack controls, mouse, temperature gageManipulate objects Frequently type: Hand/Power Tools, PartsTwisting Occasionally Twists torso while driving the pallet jack to look for obstructions and/or otherCompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $21.00 and $27.00.
