Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) in Lewiston, Maine. This position involves supporting surgical procedures within the obstetrics (OB) unit, specifically Cesarean sections and other maternal care. Candidates are required to bring their certification and license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, Maine
• Certifications/Education: CST certification, Certified Scrub Technologist, with a minimum of two years of OR experience; OB experience preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift from 17:45 to 06:15, with a minimum of 36 hours per week (potential to work 48 hours).
• Required Qualifications: CST certification, Certified Scrub Technologist, two years OR experience, and Maine state license or appropriate credentials.
• Preferred Qualifications: Obstetrics (OB) experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Support surgical procedures such as Cesarean sections within a maternity and delivery unit.
  • Operate equipment including Neptune and Ligasure.
  • Maintain patient safety and support a 1:1 patient-to-tech ratio during procedures.
  • Adhere to hospital dress code, with OR scrubs provided.
