Phlebotomist III - Floater

Location: Elgin, IL

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, hours vary between 6:00am–8:00pm; every other Saturday 7:00am–2:00pm

What You'll Do

• Travel to multiple sites to provide phlebotomy coverage based on business needs

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric

• Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens in the patient’s presence

• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation and required records

• Create a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients at all assigned locations

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• Prior experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel frequently between sites

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
