Project Planner

Position Project Planner Location Cameron Park, CA Employment Type Full Time Hours Monday - Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, flexible as needed Compensation and Benefits $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with high company contribution Long Term Disability and Life Insurance Plans 401K plan with Company Match Generous Paid Vacation and Sick Time Paid Holidays General Description Responsible for planning and managing manufacturing projects from initial contract review through final shipment. Reviews contracts, drawings, models, and specifications; creates estimates, job releases, and bills of materials; coordinates material sourcing; and collaborates with shop personnel, engineers, and program management to ensure timely delivery of quality products. Serves as liaison between the production floor and engineering. Capable of assisting with tasks directly related to performance and execution of assigned projects. Maintains standards of safety, quality, scheduling, and profitability. Responsibilities Review contracts, drawings, engineering data packages, and specifications Create project estimates and initiate job releases from those estimates Calculate material requirements using ERP software, and coordinate with purchasing to source materials and outside services Monitor job progress and maintain accurate status reporting Serve as liaison between production floor and engineering to address technical challenges Keep program management informed of delivery schedules and proactively address any concerns Own full project lifecycle accountability from planning through shipment Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience preferred 2+ years in production planning, project coordination, or manufacturing engineering Capable of reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, sketches, specifications and manuals Solid understanding of machining/fabrication operations and associated processes Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS2/E2 experience valued) 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks) preferred Effective communicator with strong attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
