Sr. Associate Software Engineer-Embedded (C++/Linux/Agile)-US

Sr. Associate Software Engineer-Embedded (C++/Linux/Agile) Embedded Software Engineer to work on embedded software development utilizing the C++ programming language in a Linux environment on an Agile Development Engineering Team. Essential Functions: Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test Investigate and resolve defects Research and apply new software concepts Work with system engineers to implement and demonstrate new capabilities Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree with a minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience OR A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Degree Preferred Additional Skills: Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Strong C++ programming skills including experience with modern debuggers and version control system support Strong experience utilizing Object Oriented design methodologies Experience with embedded software development Experience with multi-threaded software development MatLAB experience QT experience Signal processing experience Good working knowledge of the Linux Operating System (Red Hat) Excellent communication skills and be able to create and maintain strong working relationships This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
