Under the direction of the Swedish Seattle Executive Director of Operations and the First Hill CNO, this director is accountable for the operations of the inpatient Labor and Delivery units on the First Hill campus and delivering on the quadruple aim. Works in collaboration with campus executive leadership, Regional Director, support services, and medical directors to transform delivery of clinical care for Labor and Delivery at First Hill. Creates an exceptional patient-centered experience by developing a seamless care delivery system and innovative care models to improve quality outcomes, reduce unnecessary clinical variation, and improve coordination across the continuum.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, if Master's degree is not in Nursing
• Master's Degree in Nursing, MHA, MBA
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Within 2 years of hire: Certification in Nursing Leadership
• 5 years Progressive management experience in healthcare, preferably with an in-depth knowledge specific to clinical service area
• Experience leading teams, group facilitation, process improvement, and managing projects
• Experience working in a unionized environment.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
