This full-time role is essential for providing high-quality therapeutic support to individuals grappling with substance use disorders. Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to support clients from the comfort of your home. You will be using advanced telehealth technologies to conduct sessions, which enables us to reach clients who may otherwise face barriers to traditional in-person support. Our work schedule primarily spans Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and goals of individuals entering treatment for substance use disorders.

  • Create personalized and actionable treatment plans based on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

  • Deliver effective individual counseling sessions that address both the psychological and behavioral aspects of addiction.
  • \n
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that foster community support and shared learning.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatrists and addiction specialists to coordinate care and address complex patient needs.
  • \n
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support for clients experiencing substance-related emergencies.
  • \n
  • Educate clients and families about the nature of addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources to ensure informed choices.
  • \n
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to track progress and treatment efficacy.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and strategies that enhance patient care.

  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in addiction treatment to continually refine and improve therapeutic approaches.

Your work will impact a diverse range of clients, from individuals in the early stages of recovery to those who may have faced multiple relapses. Each patient brings unique challenges and backgrounds, requiring a tailored approach to therapy. Focusing on empowerment and resilience, you will foster a supportive environment that encourages open communication and active participation in the recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • \n
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.
  • \n
  • In-depth understanding of substance use disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment interventions.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy, specifically within the realm of addiction treatment.
  • \n
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by an empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor.

  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working with individuals facing substance use challenges or other mental health disorders.

  • Experience working within a telehealth environment, familiar with various digital tools and platforms for therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
